Looking for something fun to do in Bayfield? Please consider a boat adventure on Lake Superior with Wild Pursuits! My love of the water and my desire to share the beauty of the lake and islands is what inspired me to start my own boat chartering business called Wild Pursuits. After a career of in the education industry, it is great to continue to teach others about this amazing area. This lake has always touched my soul and I hope that you will feel a sense of serenity and/or thrill as you explore the beauty of this area.
I am a Certified Captain and the boat is a 26 foot open bow boat that has lots of room for a comfortable tour.

Pricing/Cancellations
Pricing is based on the tour. Prices do not include captain gratuity, a 3% National Park Surcharge for trips to the islands, or taxes. There is a 2 min/6 person max.
If weather conditions become unsafe or unfavorable and we are forced to cancel the tour, we will contact you to try and reschedule or cancel the reservation with a full refund
No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or in case of no-show. No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 24 or more hours in advance.
Staying at the Wild Rice Retreat or Island View Lodging https://www.islandviewlodging.com/ guests receive 15% off! Discount will be taken off at time of transaction.
What to bring? What to wear?
As you sit back and breathe in the fresh air and bask in the sunshine, you may be thinking you were glad you brought your sunscreen as at least half of the seating on the boat is not covered. Also, please bring your own beverages and snacks. Bring plenty of layers as it is usually much colder on the lake than you would think. Also, bring your own towel if you are thinking of jumping in! Warm blankets are available for sale on the boat if needed and ice can be provided for your cooler and/or beverages if requested ahead of time.

Generous portions of sugar-cured smoked salmon, lake trout and whitefish, paired with some cheese, meat, nuts, crackers, pickled herring, pickles, olives and smoked whitefish spread, plus a cookie for dessert! Each box serves 2-4. Must reserve 24 hours in advance.

Nestled in the heart of the Pikes Bay Marina we are located 1 mile south of Bayfield. 84190 Pikes Bay Rd, Bayfield, WI 54814
Please plan to arrive at Pikes Bay Marina (at 84190 Pikes Bay Road, Bayfield, WI) at least 15 minutes prior to your departure time to give yourself time to park. Parking is available near the clubhouse, not near the docks as that is permit parking only.
