What to bring? What to wear?
As you sit back and breathe in the fresh air and bask in the sunshine, you may be thinking you were glad you brought your sunscreen as at least half of the seating on the boat is not covered. Also, you are free to bring your own beverages and snacks. Bring plenty of layers as it is usually much colder on the lake than you would think. Ice and a cooler can be provided for you if requested ahead of time.

Hungry? We have Bodin Fisheries Snackle-boxes
Generous portions of sugar-cured smoked salmon, lake trout and whitefish, paired with some cheese, meat, nuts, crackers, pickled herring, pickles, olives and smoked whitefish spread, plus a cookie for dessert! Each box serves 2-4. Must reserve 48 hours in advance.

L. Reishus – 2025
We enjoyed every minute of our tour with Captain Sue! She was an excellent guide and host and I highly recommend this trip with her to get a wonderful overview of the Apostle Islands! Planning the trip couldn’t have been easier as well.
H. Zimmer- 2025
Captain Sue gives the best tours of the Apostle Islands! Her boat is clean and comfortable. She is so knowledgable of the area, respectful of its history and culture and adds such fun information and touches to make the tour special for you. Some friends and I did the Devil’s Island tour and we saw so many eagles, shipwrecks, and lighthouses along the way. We gained a much deeper understanding and appreciation for this beautiful part of the country. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
J. Holmgren- 2024
Captain Sue is awesome! We had the best experience traveling to Devils Island and back with shipwrecks, sea caves, and other great views along the way with Sue providing interesting details of the area. We definitely highly recommend Captain Sue and Wild Pursuits !
